Does RaceTrak support Team Processing?

Yes. RaceTrak includes the ability to create one or more team categories, and
within each category, you can specify the number of scorers and displacers by
sex. Teams are then associated with each team category, and these teams are
available when registering runners. Teams can be scored by Guntime or Finish
Time.

Does RaceTrak support the Chip?

|
Yes. RaceTrak supports both the ChampionChip and the Winning Time Chip.
RaceTrak has successfully scored many chip races, including the 5000 runner
Annapolis 10 Mile Run.

How does RaceTrak handle Awards?
|

|
RaceTrak allows you to set up awards for any age group, disallow duplicates,
and order awards with great precision. In addition, awards can be associated
with special categories (firefighter, Clydesdale, etc.). RaceTrak can be setup
to score Awards by GunTime or ChipTime.

Does RaceTrak handle series scoring?

|
Yes. Sophisticated programming allows you to associate a runner to a series,
and then never have to associate that runner to the series again. Series
"age-as-of" dates are supported so that you can specify that runner is to be
scored by his/her age as of a given date. Series points can be assigned to
runners through an easy to use interface. Series club teams can also be scored.

Does RaceTrak support triathlons?

|
The latest version of RaceTrak includes many new features to support
Triathlons, such as the ability to collect times for any number of multi-events
that are captured and accommodation for hat colors that are issued along with
bib numbers. In addition, a spreadsheet-like output allows all times and
results to be directly copied and pasted to spreadsheets for further reporting
and analysis. We welcome the opportunity to work with event organizers to make
this a truly unique feature.

Does RaceTrak support historical data collection?

|
Yes. RaceTrak stores all runners and all races in a single database so that
historical data is just a click away. Easily run time improvement reports,
generate non-duplicated mailing labels, determine shirt sizes to order,
anticipate finish line congestion, and quickly re-register runners.

Is RaceTrak networkable?

|
Yes. RaceTrak is fully networkable, and up to 10 users can be connected through
inexpensive networks with all users connected to the single RaceTrak database.

How many data records can be entered per minute?
|
 |
|
For previously entered registrants, it typically takes about 3 to 10 seconds to
find, update, and save a new registration record. This is dependent on the type
of race, and the number of fields that need to updated. For more complex races,
where teams, clubs, and special categories are calculated it can take longer.
New data records can take between 20 and 60 seconds. For race day registration,
experienced users typically can handle about 100 runners per hour.

Can RaceTrak import data from external sources?
|

|
Yes. New in RaceTrak v5a is the capability to import data from online
registration services or club membership databases.

What timing devices does RaceTrak provide direct communication with?
|

|
RaceTrak v5a communicates with the Time Machine, Chronomix 737, and
TimeTech/Sprint8.
|
|
|
|
Can RaceTrak manage club member data?
|
 |
|
Yes. RaceTrak houses a permanent record for each runner and includes fields to
indicate the club name, the membership type, and whether the person is an
active club member.
